To find the Axe from the Lake in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, you'll need to follow these steps:

1. Starting the Quest:
   • Talk to Zdenyek the Mouth in Tachov and ask him for a story. He's usually around the tavern's yard. You might need to ask Innkeeper Prochek about local happenings before Zdenyek speaks with you.
   • To initiate the task, give Zdenyek a drink and choose the "Something informative" dialogue option. He will tell you a story about two brothers and a silver axe.
2. Locating the Axe:
   • The search area is southwest of Tachov, near Rockwater Pond. The axe is buried in a grave on a hill north of the pond's pier.
   • Go west on the path on the northern side of Rockwater Pond, accessible from Zhelejov or Zhelejov Wagoners' Inn. Look for a narrow path to your left leading to the pond bank and pier.
   • Head back up the narrow path and continue straight towards a path between two large rock formations. Follow the path up the hill until you reach an old oak tree on the right and a large rock on the left.
   • Continue to the hill's crest. To your left, slightly down the other side, you'll see disturbed dirt near a tree overlooking the valley—this is the grave.
3. Digging Up the Axe:
   • Make sure you have a spade. If you don't have one, you can buy one from Merchant Jurg Thomel in Troskowitz.
   • Approach the disturbed dirt and dig up the grave. You'll find a broken round shield, a gemstone silver ring, marigold, and the broken axe.
4. Repairing the Axe:
   • To restore the axe, go to a blacksmith, such as Radovan in Tachov.
   • You'll need the broken axe and some fastening material, which you can buy from the blacksmith.
   • At the blacksmithing station, heat the axe head until it's yellow-hot, then hammer it out on both sides until it's shaped. This will create the Adorned Axe.
5. Completing the Quest:
   • Return to Zdenyek in Tachov and tell him about the axe.
